Lauren Millner, MSW has an extensive background in mental health, fundraising and event planning, including organizing and implementing large events for some of today’s most critical causes, such as ending homelessness, challenging the stigma of mental illness, and supporting women’s rights. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Temple University and her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Spanish at Drew University, and has spent the past ten years of her career helping people find and access the best treatment available for their mental health concerns. Lauren believes that “reaching out for help is one of the most courageous acts we can do as humans, and it is a true honor to be able to offer support during some of these most vulnerable times”.
Lauren has experienced the transformational power of connection, community, compassion, and vulnerability, both personally and professionally. She is a fierce advocate for her clients and her goal is for others to also benefit from comprehensive treatment that improves their quality of life.
Lauren lives in New Jersey with her husband, stepson and three dogs. Rocky, Lauren’s Certified Therapy Dog, visits schools and mental health facilities offering his calming presence to those who need his support. In her spare time, Lauren can often be seen walking her pups in town to the local farmer’s market, while visiting some of the shops along the way so the dogs can get their special treats. She also enjoys family outings and adventures, especially with her husband, stepson, and twin nephews.
