Kat is a native Chicagoan with an impressive background of life experiences. Alongside studying three subjects -- Theater; Psychology; and Recreation, Parks & Tourism -- at Western Illinois University, she served in the Army National Guard for 10 years. After her studies, she worked abroad in the United Kingdom serving the United States Navy and Royal Air Force as the director of the Navy’s LIBERTY Program.

Kat comes to the Guest House with nearly 15 years of admissions and marketing experience. She was first introduced to the behavioral health field when she answered a classified ad for a teacher/mentor at the San Cristobal Treatment Center. As Director of Admissions and Marketing, she was able to assist the entire family system while networking with other professionals, visiting other treatment centers and attending industry conferences. She was next recruited to work as a National Account Executive for Calloway Labs. While working in toxicology she was exposed to the realities of the world of addiction and drug abuse, and with help and encouragement from her friend, Judy Crane, she decided to start her own company: Cross Consulting Marketing.

As a consultant, she now enjoys the freedom to choose where she provides her services and is committed to working with only the most ethical and authentic people in the industry -- including Judy Crane’s Spirit2Spirit Healing program and The Guest House Ocala. Currently, Kat lives in Taos, New Mexico with her young daughter, Skyler, and loving husband, Matt. She is proud to represent The Guest House Ocala and continue to help professionals learn about the incredible healing that is happening.
