Sabra is a licensed mental health counselor, certified trauma therapist, certified addiction professional, certified sex addiction therapist, and qualified supervisor. She holds a doctorate degree in counseling supervision and education from Argosy University, as well as a Master of Science in mental health counseling from Capella University.
Sabra has over 20 years of experience working with individuals of all ages under many different sets of circumstances. She has worked with crime, sexual assault and crisis victims; on cases involving trauma, abuse and loss; and has worked as a therapist for those struggling with addictions, eating disorders and mental health disorders, among many others. She has also taught mental health counseling students at the master’s level and is experienced providing therapy and counseling for individuals, couples and families.
She believes in creating a safe and validating space through nurturing, warmth, compassion and humor. Sabra utilizes her considerable skills and education to provide a therapeutic experience for clients in which they can grow, take risks and expand their options in all areas of life.
